THU connects creators with the digital entertainment industry. Its platform is where more than 38,000 members from 180 countries find events, work and mentors, on the web and in iOS and Android apps.
We've been building it since 2016, from the first concept through design, development, infrastructure, training and long-term support. Ten years on, it's still one product, and still up to date.
We handled the UX, UI design and development.
Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Hotwire, Tailwind CSS and Stripe, with the interface in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Japanese.

- Every event edition, challenge, programme or community is a Space with its own modules, look and membership, run by its own team from a self-service admin.

- Ticket sales with online payment, schedules and personal calendars, session booking, on-site check-in, badges and wallet passes.

- A job board, company profiles, a recruiter workspace for applications, a talent pool, bookable interviews and video calls.
- Learn
- One-to-one and group mentorships, free or paid, with bookable sessions, plus talks to watch on demand.
- Challenges
- Creative challenges with entry submission, galleries, selection rounds and jury evaluation.
- Tribe and chat
- A member directory with portfolios and connections, chat rooms and direct messages, with email and push notifications.
- Mobile apps
- iOS and Android apps built with Hotwire Native, so one codebase serves the web and both apps.
